County Library “Alexandru și Aristia Aman”, through the Media Section and American Corner Craiova, organizes during the period February 4–5, 2026 reading hours in Romanian and English, dedicated to the celebration 
edition 2026.
Through this initiative, the County Library “Alexandru și Aristia Aman” joins an international reading celebration, aimed at promoting the joy of reading, intercultural dialogue and the development of language skills among students.
The activities will be held online, with the help of the ZOOM platform, and are coordinated by our colleagues Mădălina Băilesteanu and Denisa Florescu. At the events will participate students and teaching staff from multiple educational units in Craiova:
- students from Nicolae Romanescu Secondary School, coordinating teacher Gabriela Aranghel
- students from the Ethos Private Gymnasium, coordinating teacher Monica Mărunțelu
- students from Decebal Secondary School, coordinating teacher Mădălina Ștefania Ciungu
- students from Energetic High School Craiova, coordinating teacher Veronica Bărbulescu.
Through these reading hours, the County Library “Alexandru și Aristia Aman” reaffirms its active role in supporting education, encouraging reading and strengthening ties between school, library and community.
